Our client is a national industry leader providing their clients with exceptional electrical, telecommunications, security and fire services across the commercial, construction and industrial sectors.

The company have a new opportunity for a Passive Fire System Installer to join their team. This opportunity will see you responsible for managing the onsite installation of Passive Fire protection systems, working closely with the project delivery team.

Key Responsibilities

This position offers the opportunity to become a highly valued member of the team and responsible for the following:

Installation of Fire Door/Passive penetrations fire service equipment in full compliance with Australian standards
Read and interpret project plans
Forward planning, delegating tasks, calculate and monitor material requirements
Communicate with a range of people including site management, company clients, tradesman, sub- contractors and apprentices
Ensuring project deadlines are being met and quality workmanship in maintained

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate for this position will be passionate and delivery focused. The key to success in this position is your established technical skills and experience in Passive Fire installations.

You will also possess following skills and attributes:

Previous experience in passive fire installations
QBCC certification
White Card
Confidence in your technical knowledge and knowledge of Australian standards for fire door installations
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
Strong commitment to safety, including industry, company and site requirements
Demonstrate a strong sense of initiative with the ability to operate in a fast paced environment and the confidence in your skills to make decisions.
