Our client's team is expanding and as such they are seeking a qualified and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join their team. This role requires the successful candidate to have a strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude in addition to a focus on safety and compliance with OHS policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and test a diverse range of diesel, petrol and gas-powered vehicles.
- Vehicle and Forklift maintenance.
- Routine and breakdown maintenance.
- Willingness to undertake general repairs within the workplace.
- Ensuring all service reports and documentation are completed accurately.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Diesel Mechanic.
- Sound work history with mobile plant equipment.
- Welding, and minor machining experience advantageous
- Solid Auto Electrical skills
- Current car and truck licence
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Outstanding customer service skill.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
This role requires onsite visits for customer callouts with some overnight stays as well a commitment to a reasonable amount of overtime.
Experience in working with tractors would be advantageous.
