Our client which is one of Australia’s largest privately owned forklift and access equipment companies, is seeking an experienced and qualified mechanic for their Road Service Division - Fork Trucks and Access. This is your opportunity to join an expanding and growing organisation in Altona, Melbourne.

The role:

Some of the duties include planned maintenance and inspections, repairs, overhauls, new machine builds and modification.

This role requires the person to be flexible, working different hours. The job starts on a casual basis with a view to permanency for the right person.

Benefits:

Internal and OEM training and fully equipped service vehicle will be provided. You will be working on a wide range of equipment including world renowned Konecranes container handlers and the CAT range of forklifts. Quality facilities and support and overtime will be provided.

The person:

Previous experience within the industry would be desirable. Diesel mechanic background is desirable for this role. Electrical and hydraulic experience will be highly regarded. The person has to be a team player, should have attention to detail, work with minimal supervision, possess good customer service relationships, must be reliable and punctual and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

You will be paid competitive rates in the industry, depending on the skill level, a fully maintained service vehicle with access to incidental private use and uniforms will be provided.
