About the Role
We are currently seeking a suitably qualified individual to support our Equipment Assembly team in the newly developed position of Quality Assurance Officer.
  
In this exciting role, your key responsibilities will include:

• Keen eye for detail
• Document and provide clear and concise feedback for Continuous Improvement of the Equipment Assembly process
• Provide a high level of professional and technical communication in relation to quality inspections
• Liaise with various internal departments to ensure timelines, quality standards and solutions are implemented
• Notify leadership group of additional unrelated work or defects as identified during the assembly/repair process
• Ensure compliance with company policy
• Implement and maintain electronic QA process for all New Equipment assembly carried out in the Brisbane facility
• Continually seek out and develop improvements to the QA process

About You
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

• Mechanical trade qualification is desirable
• Minimum 5 years post trade experience within a diversified company
• Sound knowledge of computer systems and programs
• High attention and adherence to safety policy and procedure
• Knowledge of an equipment assembly process and Caterpillar product is desirable
• Have high standards and expectations, will not compromise on Quality or accuracy.
