About the role:
We are in the process of opening a new workshop and are looking to recruit a highly skilled, qualified and motivated Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The position will be located in Cairns, QLD. You will be able to take charge of your work day, by managing the servicing and repair schedule for all trucks and equipment in the area. You will be the sole Mechanic in the workshop, however you will work closely with our Operations Manager, and our Fleet Maintenance Supervisor on a day to day basis.

Good communication skills and the ability to accurately complete work related documentation are also essential for this role.
Skills required:
Advanced knowledge and experience working on diesel trucks and hydraulic equipment is essential. Ideally you will have a technical and practical understanding of EWP’s, chippers and vegetation maintenance equipment, however this is not essential. ETS is committed to training and upskilling our people with industry recognised courses offered through our Registered Training Organisation. (RTO)
Salary package includes:
- An hourly rate commensurate with your skills and experience
- Company ute provided, with limited private use
- Plus 9.5% Super
- Regular Overtime available Monday to Friday
- Ongoing internal & external training is provided
