Based in Rocklea, Yarrow Plumbing Services is seeking an experienced Licensed General Maintenance Plumber, Drainage & Gasfitter as well as Reline Technician to join our well-established business. This position is suited to proactive candidates who enjoy a hands-on role outside of an office environment. Extensive on the job training will be provided to the successful candidate however a background or knowledge of sewer/stormwater pipe systems and drainage systems would be advantageous.

Experience in general plumbing and drainage is required. Knowledge of roof, guttering, CCTV and jetrodding would be an advantage.  Gasfitting would be highly advantageous.

Must be highly motivated and able to work unsupervised. Must be able to offer solutions to any problems that may arise on site. 

Company work truck, phone and uniforms supplied. Must have valid driver’s license and QBCC license.

Key duties of the role:

• Liaise with supervisor / office-based installation manager
• Preparation of materials and chemicals (epoxy resins, felt liners, rubber bladders) for relining works
• Supporting where required leading hand/reliner throughout the liner installation process
• Handling of chemicals in an appropriate and safe manner
• Communicate with customers onsite
• Complete site investigations (CCTV camera operation)
• Jet clean pipe blockages
• Maintaining personal protective clothing / equipment provided for safety
• Maintaining vehicle / equipment cleanliness and order
• Identifying and providing input into the elimination of QA and WH&S detrimental work practices as well as safety hazards.
