- $75k - $80k per annum
Our client, an Iconic Australian Sporting Company, now has an OUTSTANDING opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to work on their sewing machines. Based in the South Eastern suburbs, your duties will include:
• Attending to the breakdown and repair of Sewing machines
• Identifying mechanical problems and assisting with solutions
• Providing preventative maintenance
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Ordering parts and consumables when needed
• Using hand and power tools
• Performing quality control tests
• Assisting with new components and projects
• Working within a team to meet production and OHS requirements
Do you have:
• Previous experience as an Industrial Sewing Machine Mechanic or Fitter
• Experience in maintenance and breakdown repairs
• A strong mechanical mind
• Excellent problem solving skills
• An ability to think outside the box
• A willingness to learn
• Good communication skills
• Excellent diagnostic skills
• Ability to make new components
Extensive training will be provided to the right candidate. Your hours are 7am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday with an RDO per month and overtime.
