The Role

  • Effectively recruit, retain, develop and reward a team of high performing individuals
  • Directly manage a team of 20 - 30 patrolmen geographically to deliver Member and operational results
  • Ensure alignment of objectives and activity across the team
  • Drive existing revenue streams
  • Develop a proactive safety culture within NRMA
  • Act as first point of contact for all safety incidents and response
  • Ensure the effective resolution of member complaints within approved delegation
  • Implement and manage Quality Assurance activities
  • Be an active part of the overall Roadside Operations team to continually improve Member, operational and financial results

Your experience

You will have the customer at the heart of what you do and be able to demonstrate:

  • Sound experience in managing service delivery and positive outcomes
  • Demonstrated experience in managing field based teams of employees and unionised workforces
  • Highly developed ability to build teams, involve people and motivate and recognize others, through periods of change.
  • Experience in negotiation, handling conflict and facilitating resolution
  • Proven relationship development and maintenance experience, combined with developed business acumen
  • Strong communication skills
  • The ability to work one weekend every 4-5 weeks
  • A current and valid drivers licence

The role will be based from one of our Car Servicing Centers within your area but an element of travel is required in order to effectively manage your workforce with an expectation to visit the NRMA Head Office in Sydney Olympic Park twice per week.
