About the Client
Our clients is a a global leader in the manufacturing, servicing and marketing of aftermarket parts and components for mining, crushing and heavy construction equipment, providing efficient turnaround times to Central Queensland operations.
About the Role
Ongoing opportunity exists for skilled Light Vehicle Mechanic who will contribute to the successful operations of this workshop. Ideal Candidates will have a history of safe work practices and a willing to learn attitude.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assembling and Maintenance work of Heavy Industrial Parts on Mining Equipment, Digger, Dozer and Dump Trucks
- Working on OEM radiator and heat exchanger supply and repair, lighting tower radiator repairs and drill rig cooler packs.
- An absolute commitment to working safely, complying with all safety standards and ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace is essential.
- Follow all workshop procedures including equipment serviceability, housekeeping and compliance.
Skills/Experience
- Trade certificate.
- Will consider minimal post trade experience .
- Beneficial tickets – overhead Crane
- A medical including drug and alcohol testing may be required as part of the recruitment process.
