Job Vacancy
We are currently seeking two suitably qualified Mechanical Fitter and Turners to fill permanent positions at Pioneer Mill.
The successful applicants will be required to perform the full range of Fitting duties and will have the necessary qualifications and experience in the relevant field.
Job Description
The main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the identification of the scope of work required.
- Participate and support the preventative maintenance programs.
- Basic troubleshooting of equipment breakdowns and fault reporting.
- Complete procedural logs and maintenance requests.
- A logical approach to problem solving and fault finding.
- Assist other maintenance team members to repair faults.
- Installation and monitoring of plant and equipment.
- Ensure work orders and related permits are completed and filled out correctly.
- Operate in a work-based team environment and participate in other teams and panels as required.
- Following Wilmar's policies, procedures and values
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering (Fitting Turning)
- C Class Drivers Licence
- Dogman Licence
- Forklift Ticket
- Overhead Crane Ticket
