MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

This role is responsible for providing routine preventive maintenance and breakdown tasks as directed

JOB SUMMARY

• Maintenance of data bases
• Calibration and maintenance of instrumentation on both water and wastewater plants
• Modifying and updating wiring diagrams
• Carry out planning of site specific scheduled maintenance tasks
• Perform general electrical duties and assist in operational tasks as required
• Maintenance of work area, including workshop, and housekeeping
• Complete defect notifications and defect works
• Use supplied technology to investigate plant assets, faults and repairs, including fault finding with PLC hardware.
• Communicate with and assist sub-contractors as required.
• Provide training and mentoring to apprentices
• Work within the WH&S, Environmental and Quality Systems of Unilever    Streets
• Provide other support as required by the Electrical Team Leader
• Fault finding, repair and maintaining high speed manufacturing     equipment, including extruding and moulding of ice cream products.   With Flow wrapping, box forming, closing machinery and complex         conveyor systems.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• NSW Qualified Electrical Supervisor License
• Extensive knowledge of Allen Bradley/Rockwell PLCs, including Control Logix, Compact Logix, Device-Net, Point-I/O and Ethernet/IP
• Strong knowledge of Factory Talk ME, SE and Panelview HMI
• Solid knowledge and understanding of Siemens, PCS7, TIA and HMI systems
• Understanding of Siemens-TI an advantage
• Understanding of Citect and advantage
• Solid understanding of networking an advantage
• Previous food manufacturing experience essential
• Must be a self-starter
• Pro-active in machine performance and improvement
• Able to work in a dynamic team environment
• WCM, TPM OR lean manufacturing and advantage
• SAP knowledge desirable
• Able to work shift work essential
