We have the excellent opportunity for a trade certified Diesel Mechanic / Plant Mechanic to join our very experienced and safety focused team. You will be joining a team that works together well, supports each other and produces a top-quality product and provides excellent service to our clients.
Applicants MUST be in a position to start ASAP and be aware there are a number of processes to complete, which requires your full co-operation to co-ordinate and include items such as interview with Tecside, validation of experience and potential interview with client.
Applicants should have previous experience of working on heavy equipment completing maintenance, servicing, repairs and rebuilds.
Duties include:
- Maintain, service, repair and rebuild a range of equipment on Komatsu
- Complete parts requisitions for items required to carry out quality works
- Attend daily and weekly safety meetings
- Follow all procedures, policies and work instructions
General skills, experience and knowledge required:
- Previous experience in similar role essential
- Comprehensive on Komatsu equipment experience preferred
- HD Trade Certificate
- Certificate III and Statement of attainment/Record of Learning preferred
- Good written and oral communication with the ability to liaise with all levels of the organisation.
- A healthy respect for the company and fellow employees.
- Knowledge and the application of OH&S in the workplace.
