Commercial Aquatics Australia (CAA) is one of largest and most experienced commercial pool company's in Australia, Specialising in all areas of the Aquatics Industry, we provide design, construction, renovation, filtration and service & maintenance for aquatic centres, schools, hotels, Hospital / Medical facilities and resort developments - Commercial Aquatics brings a wealth of experience to these specialised areas.

Due to continuing growth, Commercial Aquatics is now recruiting for a Plumber to join our team in Western Australia for a fixed term contract until 21st December 2018, with the intention for a permanent position aligned with increasing workload. The ideal candidate would have exposure to the commercial aquatic industry (however this is not a pre-requisite).

As a CAA Plumber you will be responsible for:

  • Interpreting and thoroughly understanding drawings and specifications to determine plumbing layouts, systems and materials required
  • Coordinate activities with other trades to ensure efficient completion of all project
  • Setting out and install cast in and in ground pipe work
  • Identify required tools and specialized equipment
  • Select appropriate type and size of pipe required
  • Install, maintain and repair water treatment equipment, pipe work and controls
  • Test pipe systems and fitting as per ITP's
  • Complete as build drawings and relevant ITP's throughout projects
  • General adherence to requirements for Quality, Safety, Productivity, Site Maintenance and organisation

 

To be considered for this role candidates must hold the following:

  • Current plumbing trade qualification desirable but not essential if candidate possesses appropriate industry experience;
  • Good communication and people management skills;
  • Appropriate drivers licence;
  • Good time management skills and the proven ability to work to deadlines;
  • Basic understanding of project delivery systems and contractual processes;
  • Commitment to develop knowledge and skills in utilising company management systems.
