Established in Adelaide in 2009, Built Security Australia is a quality provider of electronic security services to clients Australia wide. Due to the continued growth of the Melbourne region we are seeking the services of a qualified Electronic Security Technician.
Key Requirements and Responsibilities
- Knowledge of and experience in the maintenance of electronic security and CCTV Systems, devices, fixtures and equipment;
- Knowledge of methods and materials and ability to use tools and equipment necessary for the performance of routine and breakdown electronic security maintenance and testing;
- Proven experience and ability to locate and detect defects in electronic security systems and CCTV equipment;
- Ability to take direction as required, and work autonomously under pressure;
- Ability to self-manage, take ownership of role and responsibilities;
- Ability to priorities and work in an organised, methodical manner;
Skills & Experience
- Hold a current Victoria Security Licence
- Hold a current driver’s licence
- Experience with electronic security installations and maintenance
- Experience with electronic systems, especially Tecom and Concept systems
- Experience with CCTV analogue and IP systems
- Strong communication skills, must be able to communicate professionally face-to-face and over the phone
- Highly skilled in the use of computing systems
