The role:
As the Workshop assistant you be responsible for the coordination of a Non Drivable vehicles within the Auto & General Assessment Centre. Ensuring the non-drive vehicle workshop is clean and tidy, and vehicles are moved into the assessment bays allowing easy access for the assessors and tow truck drivers.
To be successful in this role you will be a strong team player with the ability to communicate in an open and friendly manner with customers and tow truck operators.
You will also develop and maintain strong relationships with Auto & General partner towing companies and repairers.
A current full manual driver’s licence is essential for this role (Essential).
Knowledge & Experience:
- Strong communication skills;
- Ability to coordinate movement of vehicles into bays;
- Coordinating and liaising with tow truck flow, drop offs and pick-ups;
- Ability to clean shed floor including oil spills and general shed maintenance;
- Open and friendly communication style when talking with customers; and
- Restocking shed consumables.
