Our client has been established for over 40 years in the sale and hire of mobile and fixed cranes.
Due to increased business they now require a trade qualified Cranes/Hydraulics Mechanic/Technician to join them on a full time permanent basis.
Reporting to the owner you will be required to:
- Service and repair new and used cranes prior to being released for operation.
- Diagnose faults and problems.
- Read and interpret drawings and schematics.
- Have a good understanding of a variety of cranes, in particular Franna cranes.
- Have experience of working on heavy earth moving equipment.
Qualifications:
- Be trade qualified in heavy vehicle or plant.
- Have exceptional knowledge of electrical, mechanical, diesel and hydraulic engineering.
- Hold a full Australian drivers licence and perhaps a heavy goods licence.
You must reside in the Melbourne Metropolitan area.
You MUST be FLUENT in reading, writing and speaking English!
