Our client are a major mechanical and electrical service provider for gas compression/ power generation equipment in the energy and resource sectors. We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Trade Assistant for a casual role based in Eagle Farm, QLD! The successful applicant must be available for an immediate start.
Aspects of this role will include, but not limited to:
- Providing support to the technicians involved in the repair and overhaul of automotive gas powered hydraulic power units
- Removal/ install of small engine componentry
- Rebuilding of rotatable components
- General workshop duties
- Cleaning and preparing of units for QA inspections
To be successful, candidates must have:
- Minimum of 12 months experience working on mechanical equipment
- Forklift licence highly regarded
- Dogging licence essential
- Mechanical aptitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Manual driver’s licence
- Good communication skills
- Self-motivated to achieve daily expectations
- Must be available Monday - Friday with potential weekend work
- A demonstrated high regard for safety
- Basic to intermediate computer literacy
