About the role:
Tynan Motors are currently recruiting an experienced and professional Technician to join our team who will be primarily handling used car reconditioning and complimenting our Tyre Shop. This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced self-motivated technician to join our growing Kirrawee site.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine servicing of vehicles
- Perform Diagnosis and rectify electronic and mechanical problems.
- Conduct final road test (Quality Control) when requested.
- Ensure that all repair orders are in line with Tynan Motors guidelines
- Ensure that repair order, with supporting documentation for warranty compliance are completed prior to vehicle sign off.
- Fitting and balancing wheels for customer and commercial vehicles.
- Wheel alignments/post-alignment checks and road testing.
- Inspect and repair tyres.
- Identify vehicle faults that may contribute to tyre wear.
About you:
- Hold appropriate trade qualifications - motor mechanic
- Previous experience in a motor mechanic role
- Previous experience in tyre fitting highly regarded
- Wheel alignment experience highly desirable.
- Be reliable, honest, punctual, hard-working, self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
- Current NSW Drivers Licence
- A keen eye for detail and a high level of workmanship

Job Benefits:
- Monday – Friday 8:00 to 4:06 and occasional ½ Day Saturday (Rostered) paid at overtime rates.
