API prides itself on superior service levels at competitive prices. API are commercial locksmiths and specialise in masterkey systems, safes, access control, CCTV systems and electronic keying.

We are seeking a Electronic / Locksmith Technician to provide prompt effective specification, installation and servicing of Electronic Security and access systems for Allegion /API customers.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain stock levels of keys, locks and parts, as required.
• Ensure that all Job Sheets are correctly priced and invoiced in accordance with pricing structure.
• Workshop bench jobs and key orders to be completed daily. (if shop based)
• Invoice cash sales, using Point of Sale as directed.
• Ensure that all work performed is supported by the necessary documentation.
• If a company vehicle is allocated it must be maintained in a clean and serviceable manner as per MV Policy.
• Ensure all required Inductions are current.
• Be prepared to work the necessary hours required to ensure API delivers superior customer service levels as directed by Manager.
• Ensure all tools of trade are in the best condition and remain fit for the task.

   

  REQUIREMENTS

  Qualifications:

• Must hold a current Private Individual Security Licence
• T4 ASIO Accreditation if working on Gaming or Government sites.

  Experience:

• Experience in a service based or retail environment
• Medium to high level of computer skills.
• A strong customer focus and sound analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Good organisational skills, self-motivated and pro-active
• Sound communication skills (oral and written).
• Possess excellent customer service and phone manner skills.
• Self-driven, assertive and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to prioritise tasks / multi-tasking.
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Ability and requirement to upsell.
