About the role:
Due to our continued growth and expansion, we are seeking to recruit a highly skilled, qualified and motivated Heavy Transport Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic team to assist with our truck, ute and chipper servicing and the 5 and 10 year rebuilds of our EWP's. This position will be located in our Narangba Workshop on the north side of Brisbane.
An interesting variety of work is on offer to a self-motivated, team player possessing the required background and experience. We are looking for someone who is adaptable and willing to help out in all areas of our large workshop. To apply for this role you must have a strong safety focus and be willing to abide by ETS safe work procedures. Good communication skills and the ability to accurately complete work related documentation are also essential skills.
Skills required:
Knowledge and experience working on diesel trucks, hydraulic equipment, light vehicles and vegetation equipment will be highly regarded. Having a technical and practical understanding of EWP's would also be advantageous. We are looking for the right person with the right attitude for the role, so we will consider a wide range of mechanical experience and qualifications. We can provide any additional training required for the right person.
Experience in the following areas would also be highly regarded:
- Knowledge of PLC systems
- Hydraulics and/or engineering experience
- Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics
Salary package includes:
- An hourly rate commensurate with your skills and experience
- Plus 9.5% Super
- Regular Overtime available Monday to Friday – up to 10 hour days
- Ongoing internal & external training is provided.
