MaxiTRANS is a leading supplier of road transport equipment for general freight, temperature controlled and bulk transport across Australia and internationally.  As a manufacturer and supplier of trailers, equipment, solutions, parts and services to the road transport industry, we are going through an exciting period of change and transformation.

We are looking to appoint a high performing Workshop Supervisor to be based at MaxiTRANS Wingfield facility.

Reporting to the Service Manager, this position is responsible for providing supervision of workshop employees with a key focus on safety, quality and productivity. Key areas of responsibility include:

• Manage the allocation of work across the team to meet scheduled timelines
• Monitor availability of resources, and skills needed to maximise efficiencies
• Oversee output levels and take a proactive approach in resolving quality issues
• Organise training and team skills development as needed
• Compliance with company and industry standards across all areas including health and safety requirements.
• Uphold the organisation's values, act as a role model for your team

The successful candidate will be trade qualified with some training or education in leadership/management.  Previous experience in supervising workshops, leading a small team within a customer driven organisation and the right attitude are what we are looking for in the successful candidate.  Industry experience, preferably within the automotive, transport or logistics areas will be highly regarded.  As a team leader you have developed a genuine passion for continuous improvement, coaching and inspiring others and a reputation for excelling in all that you do.
