Duties and Responsibilities:
Routine and preventative maintenance and break down tasks as required
Manage work load, prioritise jobs to ensure maximum productivity
complete paperwork, data base management
Planning of specific scheduled maintenance tasks
Perform mechanical tasks as required
Manage spare parts and tools of trade
Use of company assets and company vehicle, ensure they are maintained and kept is accordance to company policy
Communicate and liaise with internal staff, contractors and members of the public
Work within the WHS environmental and quality policy and systems
Experience required:
Demonstrated experience in maintenance of heavy industrial plant and equipment
Trade qualification is essential
Skills:
High level of computer proficiency
High level of written and oral communication skills
High level of problem solving skills, time management & decision making ability
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a productive working relationship with internal and external customers
Knowledge of the WHS Act
Ability to effectively multi task
Desirable but not essential to have:
Forklift licence
data or security licence
confined space ticket
EWP ticket
WAH ticket
First Aid ticket
Required licences:
Motor vehicle licence
White card
This position is a contract position for up to 3 months with the possibility to go permanent during or at 3 months for the right person.
Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week with an RDO accrued once a month.
Company vehicle, laptop, mobile phone supplied
$42+ per hour plus tool allowance
