About the role
- The Supervisor Tree Services is responsible for assisting the Coordinator in the management and delivery of Councils urban forests within the Parks network in terms of desired standards of service and best practice.
- The Salary Range for this position is $56,429.68 - $61,123.43 gross per annum plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.4% superannuation.
- This position works under a Workforce Flexibility Agreement - 19 Day Month.
How to be successful in this position - Success Criteria
- Hold the mandatory and desirable qualification(s), training and/or experience, as outlined under the Success Criteria in the attached Position Description.
- Proven ability to supervise and provide leadership to a small team.
- Demonstrated ability to implement best practice tree management skills including the establishment of urban forests.
- Ability to undertake administrative functions associated with the provision of tree services.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritise own work and that of subordinate staff.
- Perform a range of tasks including the provision of more than routine information and assistance to clients/ratepayers.
