Chelgrave Contracting is looking for a proactive and reliable dual traded Electrical Instrumentation Technician for an ongoing project for at least 6 months, potentially longer.  Our client is a global leader in the delivery of project, engineering and technical services to energy and industrial markets.

About the role:

• Project works; installing, testing and commissioning equipment
• Reporting to the Capital Works Supervisor, you will manage and adopt the standard of safe work practices and procedures; compliance with Permit to Work system 

About you:

• Dual Trade Certification in Electrical & Instrumentation
• Post trade qualification will be highly regarded
• Minimum 5 years’ post trade experience
• High Voltage Certification advantageous
• Previous experience in a hazardous gas plant advantageous
• Analytical and methodical approach to problem solving
• Ability to communicate effectively with good reporting skills
• Excellent safety focus with a solid understanding of safe work practices
