Electrical Apprenticeships Available - Toowoomba
J & P Richardson Industries Pty Ltd (JPR) are seeking an energetic and self-motivated candidate to commence an Electrical Apprenticeship. The apprenticeship is based at our Toowoomba Branch and due to commence late August 2018. As an Electrical Apprentice you will be providing support and learning from those who have been in the trade for a number or years.
We are looking for applicants who:
- Have not yet commenced an apprenticeship in the trade;
- Completed Year 12 or equivalent;
- Achieved a minimum of a High Achievement in Maths A or equivalent;
- Achieved a minimum of a Sound Achievement in mainstream English or equivalent;
- Achieved a Sound Achievement in a Science or Graphics subject (preferred); and
- Hold a current Queensland manual drivers licence or in the process of obtaining within the next month.
Although not essential, applicants who hold the following will be highly regarded:
- Hold a white card; and
- Certificate II in Electrotechnology.
Previous paid work &/or unpaid work experience within the industry is desirable but it is not a pre-requisite. However the successful candidates will need to have drive, initiative, resilience, a strong work ethic and great communication skills in order to join our team.
