Tell me about the role…
Reporting to Engineering Supervisor, the Trade Assistant will support the maintenance team with daily technical support of Mrs Mac's production plant. Based in Morley, the role will be covering a night shift between 10pm and 6am.
You will be responsible for…
- Provides technical support to Maintenance team members
- Report and record shift activities on CMMS
- Carry out daily rounds and inspection of production lines and service rooms
- Identifies any issues and potential problems on plant and equipment
- Performs general duties across the plant and facilities
- Monitor lines and ensures services are within normal working condition and required maintenance support function throughout Mrs Mac’s operations
- Ordering, locating, overhaul of spare parts
To be successful in the role, you will need:
- At least 6 months experience in similar position within a production / manufacturing environment
- Experience in manual labour
- Mechanical aptitude
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good time management and organisational planning skills
- Basic competency in Microsoft office.
- FULL working rights within Australia.
