Renz Australia has been established 37 years with its head office in Sydney and branches in Melbourne and Brisbane. We are part of the Renz International group and a supplier of world leading brands of office and commercial binding equipment, paper shredders, media destruction equipment, commercial laminating equipment and the related consumables and technical support.
Due to ongoing growth within the company we are looking to appoint an experienced, highly motivated Service Technician who will be responsible for onsite installation, service and repairs of equipment both in Melbourne and occasionally interstate.
About the opportunity:
- You will require a high level of self-motivation, enthusiasm and a desire to succeed by building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
Some typical key responsibilities include:
- Equipment delivery co-ordination and installation
- Equipment commissioning and testing
- Provide customer training including machine operations and basic programming
- On-site problem solving, trouble shooting, servicing and repairs
- Provide technical phone support to new and existing customers
- Perform regular service calls to clients registering product faults, damaged equipment, new part replacements and those customers on annual maintenance contracts
- Generate detailed and itemised reports of all service installation and breakdown calls
- Continually look to improve reliability and performance of equipment
Skills and experience:
- Mechanical background
- Electrical and pneumatic experience
- A flexible disposition and able to communicate well with others
- Work experience in a customer service environment
- Computer skills
- Excellent time management skills
