Brown Steel is a Toowoomba based steel fabrication firm, specialising in the fabrication and erection of structural steel for the construction industry. Brown Steel also operate a crop farm on the Darling Downs
About the Role
- 38hr week.
- Above Award Wage
- Immediate Start
- Structural Steel Welding
- Agricultural Machinery manufacture and repairs
- Following Production Drawings
- Working with tolerances specified
- General housekeeping duties
- Must be able to weld too AS1554
- Reporting to Workshop Supervisor
- Operate lifting equipment as required to preform work tasks
- Operation of farm machinery when required
- Option to be Full Time employee after 3 month probation
About You
- Experienced with Structural Steel fabrication and welding
- Experienced with Agricultural machinery maintenance
- Farm Hand experience preferred
- White/Blue Card Holder
- Strong attention to detail
- A commitment on the job safety
- Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised
- The ability to work in a team
- Awareness and understanding of OHS policies & procedures
