An exciting opportunity exists for permanent full time Bakery Manager's to join our Company Owned Bakeries. In this role you will be fully accountable for the operations and profitability of the retail bakery. You will lead and drive your team to produce quality product, deliver delightful customer service and consistently meet sales and performance targets whilst ensuring all standards, policies and procedures are followed. You will also be responsible for the training and development of your bakery team.

At Bakers Delight our Bakery Managers are responsible for:

• Providing delightful service to our customers
• Achieving a high standard of bakery presentation and cleanliness
• Baking and presenting quality product to meet changing customer needs
• Help Maintain the bakery OH&S standards and requirements
• Assisting the Production Manager with stock control and production expenses
• Providing delightful customer service when required
• Dough making and oven work
• Baking and presenting quality product to meet changing customer needs
• Maintaining bakery cleanliness to WHS Standards
• Customer service
• Ordering stock and stocktake
• Ensuring the bakery meets OH&S standards and requirements
• Training and development of your bakery team
• Managing the operations of the bakery to maximise sales, profitability and customer satisfaction
• Implement systems, procedures and staff training into the bakery
• Preparation of the roster and management of wages

To be considered for this role, you will need to:

• Have completed or are close to completing a Certificate III in Retail Baking and are looking for career progression
• Strong merchandising, retail and customer service focus.
• Ability to work across a rotating roster which will include late nights and weekends
• Have Knowledge of bread production, OH&S, FSP, First Aid.
• Experience in managing and leading a small team, customer service, recruitment and selection
• Basic knowledge of financial statements
• Basic financial management skills including cash management and banking
• Excellent Organisational and communication skills
• Beginner skills in MS Office
