About the role
We require an experienced trade qualified Diesel Mechanic for our operations in Darnum VIC.
Duties and responsibilities
You will carry out the service and repair of customers vehicles to ensure total customer satisfaction in the most cost effective manner, taking into account time, safety and quality workmanship.
This will involve an interesting variety of trucks, trailers and ancillary equipment, and cover routine servicing and maintenance, diagnostic procedures, repairs and rebuilds.
Required attributes, skills and experience
- Formal mechanical trade qualifications
- Previous Volvo Truck experience advantageous but not essential
- Customer focused team attitude with good communication skills
- Reliable with good time management skills
- Willing to work overtime if required
- Commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety
- Current drivers licence preferably MC
