An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Automotive Technician who will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs of St John Ambulance vehicles. This role reporting to the Workshop Team Leader is an integral part of a collaborative maintenance crew who are dedicated to ensuring the ambulance service is operational to the highest of standards. This position is located at our new Belmont modern, air conditioned facility with working hours being from 7.00am to 4.00pm.
What you’ll need:
- Current Automotive Mechanical Trade qualification
- Experience with Mercedes Sprinters
- Current repairers certificate
- Current Air-Conditioning license
- Wheel Alignment skills (desirable)
- Valid driver’s licence (Medium ridged - desirable)
- Ability to work in a team with minimal supervision towards a common goal
- High professional standards with flexible, adaptable and approachable outlook to tasks
- Clear and confident communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be prepared to participate in continuous improvement process.
