We have an exciting permanent opportunity for an Electrical Fitter Mechanic to be based in Thursday Island within our Operations Substations business unit. 
 
The Workgroup:

The Remote & Embedded Generation group is accountable for Power Station maintenance, construction, fault response and the delivery of services to remote Queensland communities.

The Position: 

• As an Electrical Fitter Mechanic you will work in a field and workshop based group involved with the construction, installation, fault finding and maintenance of Diesel and Alternative Energy Generation Plant. 
• Operate within Ergon Energy requirements for quality, safety and risk assessment compliance. 

The Person:

• You are trade qualified with a Queensland Electrical Fitter Mechanic licence.
• Additionally possessing experience with power generation equipment and industrial control systems.
• Experience in high voltage switching, is highly advantageous.
