We are currently seeking a Qualified Electrician to join Campari Australia at our Production Facility in Melbourne’s Western Suburbs. on an initial 2 year Maximum Term Contract.
Key responsibilities and activities of this role will include;
- Planning and execution of Preventative Maintenance
- Working autonomously on electrical breakdowns
- Programme Logic Control (Siemens)
- Provide/building alternate solutions (fitting/rebuild)
- Continuous Improvement Activities
- Supervision of an apprentice
- Support the decommission/commissioning of equipment
- Training operators
Essential attributes of our ideal candidate (s) include
- FMCG Background (beverages preferred)
- A grade electrical qualifications/mechanical trade
- PLC Software skills
- SAP
- Installation skills
- Ability to function as part of a team and work autonomously
- Proven problem solving capability
- Solutions focussed
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Approachable; reliable; calm and approachable at all times
- Other certifications such as hot work/confined spaced ideal but not essential
Candidates with a Mechanical Trade are highly desirable
Our plant operates on a standard 24/5 shift pattern; flexing up and down seasonally. This role will be required to work primarily 8 hour shifts during the day, however some afterhours & weekend (on call) work may be required.
