MAINTENANCE PLUMBER SUNSHINE COAST

SJ Atkins Plumbing is a well-established, award winning Plumbing Company with over 20 years of experience & a fantastic reputation for quality and professionalism. We provide maintenance, repair and building services to commercial and domestic clients across the Sunshine Coast region.
We require an experienced all-rounder with a solid Maintenance plumbing background to join our team in a permanent full time position with an immediate start.
SJ Atkins has a maintenance team and a new work team. This role is on the maintenance team, but as new development projects are always taking place, occasionally these teams join forces to complete the job at hand.
The successful applicant will be a person that possesses the following skills, attributes and qualifications:
- Previous Maintenance Plumbing experience
- Professional and friendly communication style – this is a client facing role and you will need to be able to engage with customers, tenants, property owners and real estate property managers.
- A broad knowledge in all aspects of plumbing (roof repairs, sanitary maintenance, hot water systems, etc.)
- Happy to be on call for emergencies one weekend per month (on call payment + overtime applies)
- Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Great time management skills
- Easy going nature
- Flexible
- Hardworking
- A full set of tools
- Current QLD Plumbing Trade Licence
- Current QLD Drivers Licence

Our office uses Service M8 to schedule jobs; and our maintenance plumbers are required to utilise this system to provide job notes, photos, quotes and invoices for each job. Full training in this system will be provided.
Hours are typically around 7:30am – 3:30pm, but depend entirely upon the workload of the day.
