Nepean Engineering is currently seeking experienced Trade Sheet Metal Worker/Welder to join the team at their Narellan (NSW) plant. You will have a strong sense of ownership and accountability and want to work for an innovative team where customer service and quality is the main focus.
The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Light Gauge Fabrication as per technical drawings,
- MIG & TIG welding,
- Custom Fabrication,
- Handling of Fabricated / Welded Structures,
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Trade Qualifications as Sheet Metal Worker Certificate III Metal Fabrication,
- Assembly, fabrication and welding experience in light and medium fabrication
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to work efficiently and independently; take responsibility for task completion
A forklift; EWP licence would be highly advantageous
In addition to the above, the successful candidate should be a self-starter, reliable, punctual, and a team player who is familiar with using safe working methods.
Being successful min this role will provide you the opportunity to work with the best engineering, drafting and fabricating team in the business. And to ensure your effective transition into the business, you will be provided full training on NEPEAN systems.
