Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination
This is a NSW Health Category A position. All Category A applicants must read, understand and agree to comply with Policy Directive PD2011_005 Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination against Specified Diseases. Preferred applicants must provide evidence of protection against specified diseases prior to appointment and medical practitioner costs to determine protection is covered by the applicant.
Preferred applicants must also participate in a Pre-Employment Health Assessment (PEHA) prior to appointment.
What you'll be doing
This position is to assist in the day to day activities of the Food Production Unit. This includes assisting cooks in the preparation, packaging and despatch of products and the cleaning of utensils, equipment and the environment.
- Experience in a commercial kitchen environment
- Proven experience in cleaning in a large commercial unit
- Sound knowledge of WH&S, Infection Control and Manual Handling principles.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and unsupervised
- Good communication skills and the ability to read and write and carry out written instructions in English.
