MSF Sugar is currently seeking expressions of interest from qualified Mechanical Fitters for short term contracts during our 2018 Cane Crushing season at our South Johnstone Mill, located approximately 10km west of Innisfail.
Forming part of the maintenance team within the factory, you will be responsible for contributing to the business objectives within the position’s defined responsibility area.
Applicants will need to demonstrate ability in the following areas:
- Work autonomously or as part of a team
- Self-motivated contributor to problem solving
- Continuous improvement nature
- Demonstrated safety culture.
- Have an understanding of hydraulic systems
- Have an understanding of pneumatic systems.
- Hold a current Doggers licence or willingness to obtain.
- Hold a current Elevated Work Platform licence or willingness to obtain
- Be prepared to work in all areas of the factory as required.
- Experience in the process of the Mill is preferred but not essential
