Programmed Skilled is a workforce services company. Our people are employed across a wide range of industries.
Our client is a leading provider of concrete products for the water distribution and civil construction industry based in Rooty Hill.
They have an ongoing long term casual vacancy for reo welders for MIG and stick welding, fabrication, grinding and assembly of large moulds in a precast environment.
The pay rate is $28.00 + 25% casual loading = $35.00/hour. Overtime is paid after 8 hours per day
The shift starts may vary daily between 4am-6am and the successful applicant will be required to work a 10-12 shift on a regular basis when required. May also be required to work overtime on Saturdays when required.
Essential requirements:
Ability to read and fabricate from drawings
Must be able to work regular 10-12 hour shifts between 4am-4pm and 6am-6pm
Please note that the majority of the work will be done in an outdoors yard, not a sheltered workshop.
There is a requirement for manual handling and heavy lifting in this role.
There is the possibility of being offered permanent employment after a qualifying period as a casual.
Successful applicants must complete a medical including drug and alcohol test prior to start.
Successful applicants must be able to provide original copies of their work rights in Australia such as a valid passport or birth certificate etc.
Initial interviews will be held in the SKILLED offices at Werrington (near Kingswood).
