The ideal candidates would have experience in running minor works and are looking for an opportunity to accept responsibility, lead a small team, develop as a leading hand and expand to a sub foreman's role over time

Award winning, P J O"Connor Electrical are a medium sized long established contractor based at Milperra NSW. As part of our expansion into infrastructure projects we require this position to be filled asap with the right candidate.
The works involve attendance to numerous minor sites or being part of one major site, with most of our sites being within 1 hour of the office

The successful applicant will have demonstrated written English skills, word and excel documentation/computer skills, and be an Australian citizen or has begun the process of obtaining citizenship, this condition is a requirement of the RIW induction process.

Your role will place you working along side our experienced team of Foreman , Supervisor or Project Managers, generally your position will have you answering to the nominated supervisor. The position involves weekend works, and we work in a drug and alcohol free environment, as such pre-employment and random testing is a statutory requirement.

Additional training opportunities are available after a qualifying period including large boom lift, rescue and release, fibre and data, management of small teams, defensive driving etc.

Wages are based on experience and are negotiated before, during and post probationary period. Vehicle, phone and uniform are also provided.
