This opportunity will have you working onsite at The Outdoor Education Group's Biloela Bush Camp based in the Southern Highlands of NSW. It is a very special and unique environment. As Maintenance Coordinator your role will have you looking after the upkeep, scheduled maintenance and improvements to plant, buildings and infrastructure. You will also be responsible for maintaining a high stand of grounds and gardens representations. You will be liaising with external contractors for repair and development works as required. You will also be able to effectively manage a monthly maintenance budget.
You will be able work under pressure and be available to work a flexible roster which could include working weekends and being on call to deal with urgent maintenance issues.
This is a part time role with the opportunity to pick up some casual hours assisting the NSW logistics team servicing equipment.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a facility and grounds maintenance role, plus ability to operate and perform light maintenance on motorised plant and grounds equipment.
- Competent in the use of a variety of machinery, hand tools and equipment, including an "Operate and Maintain Chainsaw" qualification.
- Must have an unrestricted drivers licence
- Be solutions focussed.
- Be able to prioritise tasks and jobs in order to ensure timely completion of work.
