Decon Industries prides itself in delivering the highest quality works when it comes to Mechanical Electrical Services including Supply and Installation of Switchboards, Power Wiring and Mechanical Plant. We are currently experiencing strong company growth and have a requirement for two 1st year apprentice electricians to join our existing team, located in Kilsyth head office. As an apprentice, you will get to work closely with our customers and develop exceptional customer service skills. You will have the opportunity to work full time and study at TAFE / Trade School to receive your trade qualification in Electrotechnology Certificate III.
To be considered for this role you need:

- An aptitude for both the theory and practice of the Electrical Trade
- The commitment to satisfactorily complete the requirements of a trade qualification
- A current drivers licence and reliable transport to travel to and from depot and job sites
- Construction Safety Card

- Be able to work to a deadline
- Excellent communication skills
- Punctuality is paramount
- A passion for the electrical industry
These roles will suit applicants with who have completed at least year 11, or have potentially completed year 12 within the past 18 months. Ideally, candidates will have completed a pre-apprenticeship course.
Working for Decon Industries means you need to be willing to travel all over Melbourne and be able to work with new people, working with different electrical A Grade Electricians on varying sites. Successful applicants will be available to start immediately.
