An opportunity has become available to join a leading security services provider in the position of Guards Operator. Reporting to the Guards Manager, this role will assume responsibility for compiling rosters for the WA business and ensuring all of our client sites have adequately people coverage. This is an autonomous role within a small knit office and would suite someone who enjoys working in a fast paced environment.

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Compiling rosters for all WA sites ensuring adequate people coverage;
  • Ensuring shifts are covered within the required timeframe and in line with legislative requirements;
  • Conducting quality audits of information to ensure invoices and pays are correctly processed;
  • Ensuring each site has sufficient resources to meet service level requirements
  • Data entry of paperwork is completed within reasonable timeframes.
  • Generating reports using MS Excel as required;
  • Maintain records for compliance purposes;
  • Proactively attend to pay queries and respond.

To be successful in this role, the following experience and key attributes are required:

  • For the right candidate Wilson Security will pay for the  Cert II in Security Operations and WA Security Licence
  • Proven experience in a previous Rostering or Payroll role;
  • Ability to work with high volume data in a fast paced environment;
  • Ability to work autonomously without direct supervision;
  • Excellent data entry skills with high level of accuracy;
  • Good time management and the ability to prioritise;
  • Proficient in Intermediate levels of computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite);
  • An understanding of payroll legislation or Award interpretation would be advantageous;
  • Full work rights in Australia and the ability to obtain NV1 clearance.
  • Willing to work 12 hour shifts, 7 shifts a fortnight
