THE ROLE

Our Largs North facility is seeking a Yard Hand who is self-motivated with strong communication skills and great safety record to perform bin maintenance operations.

The role will involve:

• Preparation, cleaning and repair of industrial bins
• Perform general housekeeping duties on plant
• Maintaining general yard cleanliness
• Maintaining routine work records and inventories
• Carrying out non-technical maintenance tasks as required
• Manual handling around the yard

THE CANDIDATE

• Current forklift licence
• Able to demonstrate self-management and good communication skills
• Knowledge of OH&S hazards and safety precautions
• Ability to complete required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
• Be subject to a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing
• Current HR licence highly desirable

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Forklift licence
• C class driver's licence (HR non-synchro licence)
• Mechanical knowledge
