Planet Entertainment is a leading Sydney provider of amusement rides, jumping castles and equipment hire. These frequently operate at festivals, fetes, fairs and private bookings so have to be in great condition and well maintained!

We are looking for a proactive Maintenance Technician for our growing business based in North Ryde. Due to our workload, maintenance may be required on site on weekends, evenings and at odd hours when our events take place or are being installed. You will need to be available to attend sites in an emergency situation. We provide a fully maintained company vehicle and scheduled maintenance also occurs throughout the week at our North Ryde warehouse.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

-Examining and testing ride machines, equipment, instruments and control systems to diagnose faults.

-Adjusting, repairing and replacing worn or defective parts and wiring, and maintaining rides/machines and equipment.

-Reassembling, test operating and adjusting equipment.

-Advising users of common operating procedures to prevent malfunctions.

-Interpreting digital message code, analyzing code and correcting the fault.

-Installing electrical parts and control systems to the rides and attractions.

-Preventative maintenance and developing a maintenance schedule.

You should have a can-do attitude with good problem solving ability.

You will need to work in a small team environment and be able to communicate on a friendly level with our staff, customers and stake holders.

You will have a qualification in electrical or electronics and have previous experiences in this type of role.
