We are an established Defence Contracting company looking for enthusiastic people to work with our qualified and experienced staff for hands-on roles manufacturing cable assemblies and servicing military communications equipment and ancillaries used by the Australian Defence Force.
Entry Level Position - No Experience Required!

You will be trained by our experienced and qualified Electronics Technicians.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operating wire manufacturing machines and hand tools by cutting/stripping, crimping, lugging, soldering, band-strapping, torqueing whilst working with shielded cable, coaxial cable, backshells, heatshrink, and other similar operations related to cable fabrication.
- Testing of cable/harness assemblies using automatic equipment and/or multimeters, insulation resistance testers, and other test equipment to ensure assemblies meet engineering requirements.
- Reading and understanding written instructions and drawings for cable assembly requirements.
- Assisting with quality inspections, such as visual inspections and electrical testing, on processing lines in accordance with quality specifications/requirements.
- Servicing and repair of electronic equipment.
Desirable (but not essential):
- Practical experience hand soldering, cutting/stripping cables, using digital multimeters.
- Experience reading and understanding written instructions.
