MSS Security is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated security professionals to work at our prominent Defence sites in Brisbane.   These fast paced and interesting roles offer you the opportunity to utilise your experience in Defence and contribute positively to the safety and security of all personnel on base. The ideal candidates will have the experience, aptitude and determination to maintain and improve our current level of service. As Security Officers you will be responsible for providing customer service of the highest quality through your proactive, professional and sound approach. These roles are offered on a permanent part time basis.

Duties include:

• Access control of of visitors, contractors and employees entering at all gates.

• Foot and car patrols.

• Emergency response

• Communication via two way radio

• Observing and complying with Occupational Health and Safety and Building regulations

• Report writing

To be considered for this role, you will have;

• Certificate II in Security Operations
• Current QLD Security licence
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Australian Defence Clearance  - Negative Vetting Level 1
• Open drivers license and own transport
• Australian Citizenship
• Dedication, reliability and a commitment to security

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

• Superior customer and client service skills

• High standards of presentation and grooming

• Computer literacy skills

• The ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment

• Integrity and sound judgment
