Job Title:  Senior Project Officer

The Department of Planning & Environment is the lead NSW Government agency in planning for a growing NSW. The Department is going through an exciting period of organisational and operational change.

The Department’s Energy, Water & Portfolio Strategy Division leads strategic policy, programs and major initiatives to improve the regulated use of the state’s energy and, metropolitan water and increase housing supply.

 

 

About the Role:
This unique opportunity reporting directly to the ‘Principal Energy Advisor’ is required to manage and coordinate projects relative to energy scenarios for NSW with a view to developing and implementing a transmission strategy.

Essential requirements:
Superior demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills influencing high level decision makers and key stakeholders within the Energy market to take action and deliver agreed outcomes.


To be successful in the role, ideally you will have:
• Demonstrated experience within the Energy market
• The passion to manage and deliver projects
• An ability to confidently liaise with key stakeholders
• The independence to make sound decisions to progress with key project deliverables
