About the job

We are currently seeking a NDT Technician / Tube Inspector for work based in Perth, WA. This represents a great opportunity to advance your career and work as part of a team of industry professionals on a family friendly arrangement that supports work/life balance. 

 

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct Non-Destructive Testing and Inspection, in particular tube testing utilising ECA, NFA, ECT, NFT, RFT and IRIS testing techniques,
  • Client liaison and customer service, including verbal and written explanation of inspection results, testing techniques, etc
  • Supervise junior testing staff, providing guidance and metoring,
  • Ensure that equipment is maintained in a serviceable condition at all times and where required is calibrated,
  • Compile written reports in a timely manner.

 

Job requirements

Reporting to the Perth Operations Supervisor, we are seeking a candidate with:

                                                         

  • Technical abilities and relevant qualifications – UT Level II, SLOFEC, ET Level II Tubes required
  • Well versed with Carto and TubePro software (essential)
  • WA Radiation Safety Licence or Assistant Certificate is advantageous 
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Ability to work in a team and unsupervised
  • Good communication
  • Ability to work with clients to meet their goals and deadlines
  • Must be Australian citizen or permanent resident.
