About the role
You will be tasked within the Muswellbrook Workshop operation. This will require you to:
- Participate in onsite and offsite machine shutdown maintenance programs and workshop repairs.
- Utilise heavy engineering methodologies such as Air Arc Gouge, Preheat & Flux Core Welding.
- Engage in Quality Assurance Programs on specified tasks
- Represent the company's core values
- Engage with both internal & external stakeholders
- Have a reasonable aptitude for technology & communication
- Ability to perform tasks with a hands-on approach
- Perform work in compliance with safety standards and procedures
Skills and experience
To be sucessful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:
- Intimate knowledge of earth moving equipment maintenance
- Extensive experience in working with heavy grade steel
- High commitment to safety
- Well-developed trade skills
- Enthusiastic attitude with solution providing approach
- Highly flexible work environment with core family focus
- Ability to conduct yourself professionally
- Ability to work autonomously, accurately and to strict deadlines
- Understanding of or ability to learn new skills
