Through continued growth and strong work flows we are currently looking for Qualified Electrical Switchboard Fitters for our modern 12,000m2 manufacturing facility located at Edinburgh Park.
Our Fitters are integral to our business, manufacturing and installing components to the highest quality levels and standards and responsible for wiring and building industrial switchboard panels based on schematic, blueprint and/or wire schedules.
As a qualified tradesperson you will lead by example, coaching and training others in the manufacturing team. Ideally, you will be looking to progress, keen to achieve and take on future leadership roles within the Mayfield business, such as a Leading Hand or Testing and Commissioning roles.
You will need demonstrated ability in the following:-
- Proven experience in the assembly of LV switchboards , including busbar systems , power and control wiring
- Ability to read and interpret complex wiring diagrams /schematics.
- Strong background in quality manufacturing with attention to detail.
- Testing and /or commissioning experience would be advantageous.
- Occasional travel may be required
- Ability to work in a safe manner and promote a strong safety culture
- Electrical Licence (A-class preferred)
- Experience in the assembly of MV switchboards would also be advantageous
